Authentic Live Edge Wood Beds to Suit All Styles
A live edge bed frame is a masterful celebration of nature’s artistry, where the raw beauty of wood is preserved in its truest, most authentic form. These types of beds are constructed from wood that retains the natural edge of a tree. Unlike conventional furniture with its manufactured, uniform edges, each solid wood live edge bed in our range maintains its original contours and knots, the perfect bed frame for the au naturel aesthetic.
No two pieces of wood possess the same shape or grain pattern. Therefore, you’ll be getting a one-of-a-kind bed that brings a natural, earthy feel into the bedroom.
Sustainably Sourced Materials
Our live edge beds are all sourced responsibly, ensuring that you're not only investing in a beautiful piece of furniture but also in a greener future. Our artisans hand-select the finest Character French Oak, inspecting its prominent grain patterns and warm tones to infuse your home with timeless charm.

Live Edge Bed Styles
There are two live edge bed designs currently available, with subtle differences between the headboard appearance.
Live Edge Oak Bed Frame 1: This first style offers a split design, with a gap carved out between the top and the bottom portions of the headboard.
Live Edge Oak Bed Frame 2: Our second design utilises a gapless headboard, featuring a rough edge at the top that follows the original pattern of the wood.
Live Edge Bed Finishes
Despite the already personalised look of your live edge bed, you can go one step further by picking one of six different finishes to complement your interior:
Unfinished Wooden Beds: If you like the look of natural oak or pine, we can supply your bed in its raw material, with no lacquer.
White Wooden Beds: Is natural too dark? If so, our clear white stain adds a vibrant, matte finish to your bed frame - a great choice for contemporary rooms.
Light Wooden Beds: To protect the bed frame’s grain and patterns, we can apply a clear, water-based lacquer that showcases the natural finish, while adding protection.
Medium Wooden Beds: Our medium stain enhances the appearance of your wooden frame, adding a touch of warmth to your room.
Walnut Wooden Beds: As the second darkest finish we offer, a walnut frame oozes class and character, no matter the frame.
Black Wooden Beds: For a bold look, nothing beats a black stain. We use our darkest stain available to create a striking bed frame that makes a statement.

FAQ's
What Is A Live Edge Bed Frame?
A live edge bed frame is constructed using the natural contours and grains of a wood’s edge, maintaining the original shape of a tree. In turn, this gives each bed frame a unique, organic aesthetic.
Are Live Edge Beds Suitable For Modern Bedrooms?
Absolutely. The frame’s contrast between natural texture and clean lines makes for a striking feature that perfectly suits contemporary bedrooms.
What Finishes Do You Have Available?
We offer natural, oiled and stained finishes that help enhance the wood grain whilst protecting its surface for long-lasting use. For a strikingly dark appearance, there’s walnut and black wooden beds. For a lighter, airy aesthetic, we have unfinished, white, light and medium finishes.
Do Live Edge Beds Require Special Care?
Live edge beds do not require special care. However, like with other wooden beds, it is recommended to avoid excess moisture or heat exposure, as this can damage the wood over time. Nevertheless, simple, regular maintenance, such as dusting, will suffice.
Do Live Edge Beds Warp Or Crack Over Time?
The only thing that would cause a live edge bed to warp is a lack of proper care, or excessive exposure to moisture. To prevent damage, our live edge beds are sprayed with a lacquer finish that retains the looks of the bed frame, while offering a protective exterior.
