Single beds are adored for many reasons, with some of their main advantages including:

Space efficiency: As one of the smallest types of standard bed frame available, a single bed does a great job of not taking up too much space in the room. Despite this, sleepers can still enjoy a comfy night’s sleep due to our commitment to premium, high-quality materials and robust manufacturing methods.

Flexibility: It’s hard to find a room that a single bed won’t suit. Whether it’s through sheer size or the range of aesthetic options available with us, a single wooden bed fits many different interior designs.

Single Bed Dimensions

Being the smallest standard UK bed size, a single bed measures 90 cm x 190 cm (3’0” x 6’3”) width x length, and often referred to as a 3ft bed. This makes them 30 cm narrower than a small double bed, and 45 cm narrower than a standard double.

If a single is too small, we also cover all of the UK’s standard bed sizes, with options including:

• Small double – 120 x 190cm (4’0” x 6’3”)
• Double – 135 x 190cm (4’6” x 6’3”)
• King – 150 x 200cm (5’0” x 6’6”)
• Super King – 180 x 200cm (6’0” x 6’6”)
• Emperor – 215 x 215cm (7’0” x 7’0”)

Single Bed Styles

You can find every bed style we have on offer available in a standard single size. This includes materials like oak and pine, as well as our choice of six different finishes.

Standard Height Beds: Designed for easy access for most sleepers, our standard height beds have a footboard height of 40 cm.

Low Wooden Beds: With their low, close-to-the-floor design, our low wooden beds are great for shorter users, while also offering a unique appearance.

Platform Beds: Platform beds offer a sturdy, full-length base beneath the mattress, providing exceptional comfort and support.

Beds With Headboards: Not just for aesthetics, our beds with headboards offer protection to the walls surrounding your bed, while helping keep pillows in place.

Ottoman Storage Beds: With a lifting base powered by gas struts, ottoman beds provide a large storage compartment for your bedroom essentials.

Oak Bed Frames: Made from durable oak materials and tried-and-tested building techniques, our oak collection offers a long-lasting bed frame that lasts for years.

Four Poster Beds: Four-poster beds are one of the oldest designs available, which we have adapted into a single form factor.

Single Bed Finishes

To make your single bed your own, we also offer a choice of six finishes, each protected with a high-quality lacquer to ensure your bed lasts and lasts.  

Unfinished Wooden Beds: If you like the look of natural oak or pine, we can supply your bed in its raw material, with no lacquer.

White Wooden Beds: Is natural too dark? If so, our clear white stain adds a vibrant, matte finish to your bed frame - a great choice for contemporary rooms.

Light Wooden Beds: To protect the bed frame’s grain and patterns, we can apply a clear, water-based lacquer that showcases the natural finish, while adding protection.

Medium Wooden Beds: Our medium stain enhances the appearance of your wooden frame, adding a touch of warmth to your room.

Walnut Wooden Beds: As the second darkest finish we offer, a walnut frame oozes class and character, no matter the frame.

Black Wooden Beds: For a bold look, nothing beats a black stain. We use our darkest stain available to create a striking bed frame that makes a statement.
