As a hardwood, the slow-growing process means that oak is a much denser material compared to pine, which makes it more resilient to everyday life. Plus, oak has a very distinct grain pattern, which can be brought to life through either light or dark stains.

Black Pine Wooden Beds: Although pine is generally regarded as less durable than oak, we’re proud to only use the highest quality pine we can find, prioritising sustainably sourced cuts from reputable providers. This ensures utmost quality for every bed we build, with our high standards being followed regardless of the material.

Maintaining Your Black Wooden Bed

Keeping your black wooden bed in top shape is straightforward and easy. Simply give the frame an occasional dusting every once in a while, and for anything more serious, we recommend a clean, damp cloth and some water.

Try to avoid harsh cleaning chemicals where possible, as these may impact the clear lacquer placed on top.
