We’re proud to say that we’ve finally reached our goal of 0% wood waste throughout our entire manufacturing process. We have achieved this goal through substantial investment but also careful planning over a number of years.

We produce a whopping 6 tons of wood shavings each month, these shavings are compressed into high density briquettes directly from our dust extraction unit. We sell this fantastic eco-friendly fuel which is used on wood-burning stoves, fire pits or barbecues.

Offcuts produced during our entire manufacturing process are used to fuel our biomass system that provides hot water and heat for both office and workshop buildings. One of our largest investments to date but a fantastic contribution to our mission to operate in the most environmentally friendly way possible.

In order for us to be sustainable our suppliers must be too. Our timber is sourced from reliable and reputable sawmills who are FSC or PEFC certified. On top of that we give back to the planet! We promise to plant 5 trees for every bed purchased. You can view our growing forest here > Ecologi

They are a non-profit, non-governmental organisation who promote environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world’s forests, shifting the global forest trend toward sustainable use, conservation, restoration, and respect for all. Only forests that meet strict standards are FSC certified.

PEFC stands for; Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification. They are an international, non-profit, non-governmental organisation which promotes sustainable forest management through independent third-party certification.
