Choosing the right wooden bed frame
A wooden bed frame should balance style, support and practicality. Lower frames create a modern, streamlined look, while higher beds offer easier access and can provide additional storage space underneath.
Why choose a wooden bed?
Wooden beds remain one of the most popular choices for good reason. Solid timber frames are known for their durability, stability and timeless appearance.
- Strong and long-lasting construction
- Naturally sturdy and supportive
- Suitable for both modern and traditional bedrooms
- Available in a wide range of finishes and styles
Unlike metal or upholstered frames, wood offers a natural warmth and character that improves with age.
If you prefer a natural finish, oak and pine frames highlight the grain and warmth of real wood. Our coloured finishes are ideal for a softer or more contemporary feel, helping your bed blend seamlessly with your décor.

Our wooden bed frames are available in a full range of standard UK sizes, making it easy to find the right fit for any bedroom, from compact guest spaces to larger master rooms.

Wooden Bed Frame Finishes
We have a total of six bed frame finishes to choose from, which can be applied to both pine or oak wooden bed frames.
Unfinished Wooden Beds: Supplied in their natural state, ideal if you prefer a raw timber look or want to apply your own finish.
White Wooden Beds: Is natural too dark? If so, our clear white stain adds a vibrant, matte finish to your bed frame - a soft, clean finish that works well in modern and light interiors.
Light Wooden Beds: To protect the bed frame’s grain and patterns, we can apply a clear, water-based lacquer that showcases the natural finish, while adding protection.
Medium Wooden Beds: Our medium stain enhances the appearance of your wooden frame, a warmer tone that adds depth and character without being too dark.
Walnut Wooden Beds: A rich, darker finish that creates a more traditional or premium feel, a walnut frame oozes class and character, no matter the frame style.
Black Wooden Beds: For a bold look, nothing beats a black stain. We use our darkest stain available to create a bold, contemporary finish that makes a strong statement in any room.
Built for durability and everyday use
Each wooden bed frame is designed with strength and longevity in mind. From reinforced joints to solid slatted bases, every detail is carefully considered to ensure reliable support and stability.
Using responsibly sourced timber and quality craftsmanship, our beds are made to withstand daily use while maintaining their appearance over time. Whether you’re furnishing a main bedroom or a guest room, you can expect a wooden bed frame that delivers both comfort and lasting value.
