The model 01 standard height wooden bed is the first in our range. A simple but carefully considered design that will look fantastic in just about any setting. Our model 01 is designed with 25cm clearance underneath to maximise under-bed storage. Matching under-bed drawers can be purchased separately providing the perfect accompaniment for this beautiful handmade wooden bed.

Our wooden beds are not mass produced and imported, every bed we make is manufactured to order by a skilled craftsmen who understands the value of quality. When you buy a bed from The Wooden Bed Company, you’re investing in a bed that will last more than a decade.

The stand-out feature of our handmade wooden beds is the precision machined slot together mortise and tenon joints. Unlike most manufacturers, we’ve ditched unreliable, cheap, clip together hardware and opted for quality, precise mortise and tenon connections. Each order we produce is meticulously handmade, this includes the high end finish each bed receives. Our wood finishes produce a beautiful depth of colour whilst offering exceptional durability giving your bed the longevity it deserves.
